Strawberry Anemone(Urticina lofotensis)
also known as the White Spotted Rose Anemone is a species of sea anemone of the family Actiniidae, found in North Atlantic and Pacific coastlines. As you might of guessed by their name this species has an all red body with white tubercles making it look like a strawberry (even though strawberries don’t have white on them) when it retracts its tentacles. they are fairly large as-well (for a sea anemone) with adults growing up to 6 in length. unusual among members of their family U. lofotensis does offer fish protection from predators although they don’t benefit from it.
